Scandal: Bet9ja Betting wrecks Final year Student Of....

These days football betting is very popular among Nigerian youths. In fact, to some people, it has become a very “lucrative business”. Statistics have shown that 70% of Nigerian youths are football betting fanatics. It has become more like a spell or ‘juju’.
Effects of Betting

Every corner of the street you go to is overcrowded with some guys trying to engage in football betting. Nobody is left out as you can see both old and young, students, touts and schoolboys. When you go to this football betting centers, you need to see the passion in the eyes of this young ones. It seems they are under some kind of spell.

What baffles me most is that nobody is saying anything about it. But why? I guess the reason is that people see it as a place to get quick cool cash.
Below is a story Narrated by a 400 level Student of how Money meant for his school fees  was used for Betting , thereby ruining his Future and putting his Graduation at stake!

"I have a little sad story to share. I am going to 400L accounting department, to be precise. When school fees came out , I was planning on scamming my parents  but I didn't know the method to use, then one of my course mate told me to multiply it on bet9ja.

So I told my dad about the fee and he asked for the school account number. So I gave him the account number of one of my guys in the area. While he was trying to transfer the money to the account, he saw the Name as "Lasisi Adedibu" he was shocked and he said "it's supposed to be the school name".I had to cook up lies to cover it up telling him that's the school bursar and he knows how to pay without stress. So my friend told me put my school fees on ODDS of 5.

But since I am not a hard Guy(Bad Guy), I had to take 100k out of it to put on Odds of 5 and Barcelona Casted it.

Now I am in a dilemma. Should I take another 100k and raise it so I can complete my Fee or what? 

I don't want to miss my final year....."
