DO NOT ENGAGE IN ALUTA, UNIVERSITY OFFICIAL CAUTIONS STUDENTS AS ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR FRESHERS ENTERS THE 2ND DAY Logo- Aluta ,Power ,Struggle  April 24th saw the second day session of the 2017/2018 orientation programme.  Chairing the session was Prof E.A Aiyelari, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration of the University of Ibadan. The program did not kick off until 10am although students have been filing in as early as 6am at International Conference Centre. Professor Aiyelari, who gave the welcome address, admonished the new students on some tips on how to succeed in the university and to make academics their primary, secondary and tertiary focus. He told students to count themselves lucky; because only about 3900 of them were admitted, out of the qualified 9000 applicants.
